I like this brand of bits and have several. Sharp & straight, and bearing is smooth.

Awesome bits that come very sharp and are very accurately produced. perfect pattern cuts and very little to now blowout even using them on unsupported stock

Sharp nice blades. Unfortunately bearing became stiff after one use. Probably not well sealed from dust.

I have a number of CMT router bits so I was not surprised at how SHARP this bit was. It is still VERY sharp after a bunch of template work on plywood. The bottom of every cavity routed was smooth and even. There was zero wiggle on the metal plate inserted later in the cavity. The photo shows a 1/4-inch shaft. Description says 1/2-inch. Received 1/2-inch shaft as described. The bearing was as smooth as you could want for use with a template. Outside diameters of the bearing and the bit matched precisely (as I expected from CMT).Nice bit.

Bit is nicely made, but is a little undersized from 3/4". About 9 thou as near as I can tell. The carbide seems to be very good quality, and the bearing and lock collar fit well. Overall, a quality bit.

CMT is my go-to brand for router bits. This one runs true and is very sharp right out of the box, just like their other bits. The bearing runs smoothly and it works great for template work.

Before using this bit I had a Bosch bit with similar specs. I must say that once I tried the CMT, I realized the difference in quality. The CMT bit produced very fine shavings as opposed to just dust and little pieces from the (also brand new) bosch bit. The picture shown seems to be for the 1/4 inch shank. I will definitely spend more money on this quality bits from now on.
