I've tested several pool stick vacs, and this one by KimPump has the features I look for.First, the KimPump can attach to a normal pool pole. Some of these stick vacs have a built-in telescoping pole, which is nice for a kiddie pool or hot tub, but for a normal pool I prefer the ability to attach it to my longer and heavier duty pole.Next it has a large bag and doesn't clog easily, so it can hold a lot of leaves.Third, it has a large brush head - about 10.5 inches, meaning you can get more sweeping done with fewer passes. Please note that they also include a small head for tighter places, but there is no crevice tool.We have a viny liner, and the corners aren't particularly square, so the small head fits fine in the corners and we don't require a crevice tool. But if you have a tile pool, gunite, or built-in stairs, you may have to hit the tight corners with a normal brush, then use the vacuum on the loose debris. Finally this has a pretty good motor - 20.5 GPM. Some are as low as 8 GPM, whereas I suspect the average is around 18, so this KimPump is on the higher end of power. That does mean that it has less run time - about an hour, compared to 80 or even 90 minutes with the smaller motors. But I prefer the larger motor of the KimPump, as one hour of vacuuming between charges seems sufficient.
