Good tool for a specific task. It should last at least a couple uses. The pins are kind of small and appear soft so we’ll see.

I don't know what the gear looking coupler on the one side is for, but the DUB 4-pin side is perfect from removing the bolt retaining caps from Lefty forks.

I hate having to have other people work on my stuff. Whether it's my house, my car, or my bike, I want to do the work so I know it's done right. I get that some people, in this case, just want to ride their bike and let someone else do the boring stuff. But, if you're like me, you want to have the tools without breaking the bank to do it yourself. This tool works as expected. I don't know if it would hold up well at a bike shop that could use it multiple times a day but for the guy who might use it a couple of times a season I think it'll handle it just fine. With sealed bearing in the bottom bracket there's not too much to be done. But I do like to remove a few parts to get and the front chainwheel off so I can clean off all the grease and grime.

I have both Shimano and SRAM equipped bikes so it's nice to have one tool to cover both types of caps. Regular cleaning and maintenance make it easier to remove cranks and bearings. Don't wait too long before buying one of these and regularly maintaining your bike. The tool has a very fine finish and great anodizing. It looks really well made and I found the fit to be perfect on both types of caps.

This works just fine for my SRAM Force DUB crank.

This is one of those tools that you might get one use or 100 uses from, it depends how stuck on your crank caps are, I've used it twice so far and all the pins are already slightly bent.

What it is: Blue anodized aluminum with hardened steel pins combination 4 pin SRAM DUB cap tool and 11 tooth Shimano XTR M9100 tool. Features 3/8” square drive and 8mm hex drive options and white etched graphics. Why I like it: As an avid cyclist, quality tools make all the difference when maintaining bikes. This tool is great in that the pins are long enough to grip the concave surface of DUB caps and it can be driven with either an 8mm hex wrench (same size as crank bolt) or a 3/8” square drive. It is compact enough fit in your tool bag for on the go, or in your shop tool box. Overall, an excellent tool at a great price.
