My 15lb cat is comfortable in it with room to spare. I'm still waiting for my 10lb cat to join him in there for snuggles. It was easy enough to assemble. I have a lip under my desk, so it's not a flat surface, but I found that inserting a deck of cards behind the lip (between the clamp and the underside of my desk) created a flat surface to hold the clamp securely. The heating pad has a regular 2-prong plug, not a usb, so for now I can't use it because I don't have an extra outlet nearby. I did plug it in to test it anyway and it got plenty warm. The arm and table assembly are adjustable, but need to be left in place once you decide where you want it. The arm is secured with a bracket and after you've tightened it, you don't want to try to move the arm around or you risk moving the clamp that's secured to the desk.

The bed on this is very nice quality, and the heater is a bonus. However, the idea was to put it on my antique desk. Fortunately the lip on the desk was not big enough to accomodate the clamp, so the spouse tried it out on the (only vintage) Mission couch arm first. Yikes! On the picture, the two large marks, high and low, are from the clamp. I put a cat in temporarily, so this damage is from a single jump-out, or just from the unit being there. As retired home improvement contractors, we know hardware and how to use it. The clamp itself is not strong enough; even when well-tightened, it loosened up. The rubber cushioning on the mounting hardware is totally inadequate; it does not reach to the edge of the metal, and has no ribbing for grip. The bed listed to the side even without a cat, and cats jumping in or out would soon have taken the entire bed down. The bed itself is currently in use on the floor, and well-liked. This MIGHT work as inteneded with the addition of a large piece of ribbed rubber, top and bottom of clamp...or not. Back to the drawing board, and I suggest a bigger, stronger clamp and testing with a full grow cat.

This bed is awesome, and the heating pad makes it the coziest temperature. It fits securely onto my desk without damaging furniture, it’s really easy to put together, and I like that you can raise and lower the height as needed. My cat is really happy she gets to sit with me while I work, and I’m thrilled she’s not stepping on my keyboard anymore. :)This thing looks sleek and should blend well with lots of modern decor styles. It seems to be lasting well too.

I have three cats who always want to sit on the keyboard when I’m trying to work. Has this solved the problem? No, not really, but they will occasional hang out in this bed instead of on my keyboard. :)

My rating system: EVERYTHING starts at a 5, and goes from there. I thoroughly read the descriptions and if I don't like the description, I simply don't order the item. If the product shows up as advertised they get a 5. If there are flaws, they are duly noted and stars removed accordingly.That being said, this one gets 5 stars. I have a bench set up near an outlet in the garage for the outside kitties to get out of the cold. I was trying several other things to keep them warm this winter and when this came along, I knew it was perfect for my application. It is a nice tight assembly and is sturdy. It gets warm enough to leave on, or I even thought about putting a timer on it for night time, as the pillow and extra towel I put in it would be ok for daytime. The kitties love it and I don't have to bend down to pet them. It is new, so I can't speak to the durability or longevity but so far it is a really nice item. If something changes, I will update the review. Thumbs Up!!!

We were really looking forward to this nest for our one cat. She is 18lbs, and is a lover of the nests! We have a huge cat tree for her that has a nest in her size, and she loves it. Our last cat tree had a nest that was too small for her, but she would use it anyway. Our other cat never ever gets in them.When I saw this, I had to get it for her. Not only is it LARGE enough for a hefty cat like ours, but how cool that we could add an additional nest for her in their area.Sadly, we cannot. We put it together, which was very straightforward to do, but the clamp does NOT WORK on the table we have. Their table for their cat tree is a folding 7' table, so the edges have a curved lip underneath. We didn't even know that, but that's how it is. We attempted to use it anyway, but when my husband placed his hand in the nest, with a little bit of pressure, the clamp started to move out from under the table. We then thought about attaching it to our cat tree on one of the shelves that would be safe as far as balancing the tree, so it wouldn't be unsteady. Nope. Couldn't use it there either, as the weight of it was too much for the shelf it was attached to, and could cause the mdf board on the tree to break. Sadly, we have no other place in our house to use it. It's a very small house, and our living room is the cat room, basically. We don't let them in the kitchen or our bedrooms, so we are out of places to use it.I will say, that the quality itself is VERY GOOD. It is the largest nest we have seen, and such a cool idea to be able to mount it anywhere.......well, as long as you have a table with a flat edge/underside to do so.It also had no odor, and didn't need to be aired out at all, which I am super thankful for, as someone who has chemical sensitivities. It also did not need to fluff up, or expand in any way. It arrived in the shape it should be. The cushion that comes with it, is really soft, and we may end up using that and the nest separately as an extra bed for either the cat or guinea pigs. Leaning towards the guinea pigs. We most likely will never use the heat attachment. Not sure how that would even heat up the cushion since it is several inches of plushness, but they don't need that added function. It's cool to have as an option, but not necessary.I give it 4 stars since, the instructional video, nor anywhere that I could find on the product page mentions it has to be attached to a flat edged table. We didn't imagine it wouldn't work on the one we have. It FIT it just fine, just doesn't hold since the lip underneath makes it unstable. Love the concept! Just doesn't work for us at all. 5 for quality!

Great for keeping my cats off my keyboard while I'm working (I'm lying, they lay there too). Seems comfortable and one of my cats loves it, but do notice it leaning a bit when she gets in, and she's quite small (about 6 pounds). Not the sturdiest thing, but it'll work for a while.
