Lightweight metal is surprisingly strong. Attractive design won’t get me in trouble with my HOA. When you open the box, there are so many pieces it looks like it will take a long time to assemble, I set it aside. When I went to put it together, it only took about 15 minutes. A screwdriver and wrench are included, the only tools you need to assemble the kit. The instructions are a little confusing. Four of the frame screws also hold the basket. Make sure to install the basket while you assemble the upper frame. See photo. I normally use a short lightweight hose, but it also held a heavy 50’ hose without falling over. It’s been steady for a month, will update if the product has an issue.

I hate those hose holders that attach to the house, that display the hose so visibly. For years we've had our hose just piled inside a big cedar planter tucked in the corner of the garden. It blended into the garden so the hose wasn't unattractively visible. That worked well until the wood rotted and it fell apart. When I came across this hose holder, I had to give it a try. The geometric design is cool and modern-looking, and it's surprisingly sturdy. My husband thought the weight of the hose would make it difficult for the holder to stay upright, but the four 7" stakes give it plenty of solid support. The storage basket is nice and could be really useful, but it would be more useful if it had some sort of cover, because I can't leave gardening tools outside in the rain. It's great that all the screws are stainless steel, so hopefully nothing in the joints will rust or corrode. All in all, this is a great, attractive way to store a hose, and I'm very satisfied with it.

A nice hose rack that keeps helps the keep my garden hose off the beauty bark and dirt. Assembly was tedious but it's holding up well and sturdy enough to hold my 100' hose. Accessories tray is nice - keeps my sprayers and nozzles together. A++++

This is a very nice hose holder and does a great job but maybe some fixing to match the price point would be in order.-It came in well packaged and in good shape.-The instructions are well done and easy to follow/understand.-The main top holder is very solid and sturdy.-Some of the welds are a bit on the sloppy side but they are strong.-The lower basket is handy although it would be a bit more helpful if it were an inch or two lower/bigger.-The stakes are great and go into even hard ground easily.-Where the top connects to the base is my biggest issue. I mean it's easy to slide together but there is too much play even when bolted together to the point where the top is quite wobbly even with only 25 ft of a 100 ft hose on it. So we sunk another post next to it and attached that to study it up.-After sturding up it easily holds a 100ft hose.So overall it is mostly well made but could use some improvement or a price reduction.

I've been looking for the perfect hose rack for my heavy duty, long thick hose which I need for filling my pool. I have various hoses around the house and most of them are the flexible expanding kind that are super lightweight and great for watering plants ...and all of those, I keep stored in metal (usually copper) decorative hose holder pots. But the thicker, heavy duty hoses that can handle a lot more water pressure, really need to be hung on a rack like this one. They don't fit inside the horizontal metal hose pots at all in my experienceunless you want to spend half an hour trying to get the hose in there just laid down and looped perfectly. When I want to water things like my plants, I want a simple flexible lightweight hose which is what I have for all of those applications and I want to be able to take it out quickly and put it away quickly. With the heavier Duty hose that I need for filling my pool, it's very heavy, bulky and it's not easy to drag around to water plants so I only use it for filling my pool. And because it doesn't fit inside those metal pots without a lot of effort, I've been leaving it laying on the ground which means it gets covered in debris and gets tangled up when I need to use it.When I finally found this metal hose rack that I'm now reviewing, I had already looked at probably a dozen of this type of design form factor and not ordered any of them because none of them seem like they were going to be very well made or they were unattractive or flimsy or there was some issue with them. So when I found this one and I looked at the specifications for the weight and how heavy duty the metal is I thought it would work perfectly for my needs and in fact, it does. It's a beautiful, simple, aesthetically designed outdoor piece and still highly functional with great engineering design. There's no warping or Waning of the metal once you load it up with a very heavy hose ( the specs say it can hold up to 120 lb of hose and I believe it based on how sturdy this thing is once it's properly put together) and its simple design and Construction makes it bl(end in with the outdoor fence I have it next to, without being obtrusive.Having this black metal hose rack to store my heavy duty hose is a massive improvement from having it laying on the ground.Even though the rack comes in multiple pieces that need to be installed together, with one person it took me less than 15 minutes to put the whole thing together. And they include a full size phillips-head screwdriver which is great (even though I have plenty of tools including numerous Phillips head screwdrivers). It's just a nice perk that they include a full size screwdriver to make the installation even easier. The powder coating on this is very high quality, there are ZERO sharp Burrs anywhere on any of the meal components, the engineering is perfect and solid, and all the components fit together exactly as they should, and the screw holes are drilled exactly as they should be so that the nuts and bolts fit together effortlessly through the holes, so you can almost put the entire thing together just with two hands without any tools. The tools come in handy for tightening everything down.I'm very happy that I finally found the perfect hose holder for my heavy duty hose!Highly recommended! and this is a really phenomenal value at the current $35 price point.

Not overly impressed with this hose holder. It does the job, but because there are multiple leg pieces it is not as strong/sturdy as I would like. The spikes that go into the ground are amazing. It went into the ground with ease. I would not purchase again and go with one that does not have multiple leg pieces.
