I bought this to replace my old one which had yellowed over the years. It looks like all the others, so I gave it a shot.I attached it, although the fit was tighter than my old one. I used a wrench to screw in in and quickly found chunks of the clastic breaking away from the tool. The material is too soft and doesn’t hold up under pressure.Once installed, I fired the pump back up and immediately heard a loud reverberating “whoop” sound. This was the air slipping through the door flap, which doesn’t seal properly. It’s audible above water and very loud underwater.I detached it and reinstalled my old one until I can find a suitable replacement.Don’t buy this.

This is a great product. It has great suction. It is great for the price and it works exactly how it says. I definitely recommend anyone who’s looking to buy this product for their pool.

The hinge broke on our old one and this is a perfect match. Operates nicely. It was a bit tough to put in at first, but then I added some thread lubricant to get it in. Great price and quality.
