It doesn't work. Would even chopper onions or bell pepper. Would have sent it back but my husband threw out the box.

I deal with some chronic pain and at the end of a long day my hands hurt. I've tried a different style chopping device and not had any success with it. I like that this is a smaller size than the block one I had. It has a minimal learning curve, to getting it to work but once you figure how to initially place and what size vegetable you can have best results with. Mostly I've used it with onion, peppers and garlic. It gives a nice dice and can control how finely you want it chopped based on how much you press. It is a good value for the money. Cleaning is a little tricky, and I recommend cleaning immediately and not letting it sit and saving it to do with other dishes. Over all it's a good value, well made, has a small learning curve, you still need to cut the vegetables to fit and not be too thick, but it's fun to use and does a nice job dicing, especially if you want a fine dice.

Meh.It kinda works like it's supposed to. It does mostly what it says. It hasn't broken yet. It's more of a pain to clean than suggested. It's small size makes its usefulness rather limited.Honestly, if you have the space for an electric food processor, that would be a better buy.I'm not upset that I bought this, but I wouldn't buy another.

I picked up this food chopper after my mandolin's plastic bottom warped in the dishwasher and honestly I am really glad I did. I mostly used the mandolin for chopping anyway so this felt like a great replacement.It is super sturdy and feels really well constructed, not flimsy at all. Using it is simple and straightforward which makes meal prep a lot quicker. Cleaning it can be slightly tricky in a few spots but it is nothing too difficult, just takes a little extra attention.Overall it is a solid tool to have in the kitchen and definitely a great pick if you are looking for something easy to use and built to last.

Maybe I got defective one, but my experience with this is nothing like the other review here. I found it frustrating, too much work, and my onion pieces were all mashed together, some big, some small, not nicely chopped at all. I had to go in with a knife and try to cut some of the bigger pieces just to salvage the onion. You can't fit nearly enough in the bottom clear container, half an onion seemed to be too much, so it takes like 3 rounds just to chop an onion. Then taking it apart (there are 4 pieces) and cleaning it and putting it back together - It would take less time to just chop my onion with a knife. Not to mention that pushing the top button necessitates quite a bit of strength. If you actually "slap" it like the box says, it its REALLY loud. So overall this is a disappointing product for me, I will not use it in my kitchen.
