HOW TO PLAY THE GAME
Play begins with the youngest player — after all, they haven’t experienced as much history firsthand, so they’ll need all the help they can get!
DRAW SELECTION & SET BOARD
- Draw 1 Selection Card and place it face-up on the board.
- Shuffle each category and place the top card from each deck face-down on the board.
PICK CATEGORY & TEST YOUR WITS
- Select 1 Question Card from any of the 5 cards on the board.
- Player to the left will read the question following the Selection Card letter aloud.
COLLECT ALL FIVE & WIN
- Collect card if correct, discard if incorrect and replace spot on board with NEW card from ANY category.
- First to score 1 card from each category WINS!
Wild Cards can take the place of any missing category
Strategy is the name of the game! Opponents can try to block each other from scoring specific categories by replacing their answered card with a category their rival already completed. However, every 3 cards from 1 category can equal 1 WILD CARD for any category. So, fill the board with roadblocks or send your competition down the scenic route in their pursuit to victory. Whichever strategy you choose and how much (or little) you know about any given category – HISTORY can be anyone’s game!

Great trivia game. It would be better if the questions were not always about USA. There are a lot of questions about USA history, USA Presidents, USA States, I mean really A LOT (maybe more than 50%) if you compare with the rest of history and geography questions.

There are so many things to like about this trivia game! The first thing we were happy to find was there you don't move a meeple around a board! This is a modern take at a trivia party game. The second is that the rules are clear and simple. They're explainable in a minute or two, like any good party game. Third, the questions cover the range of difficulty levels. There is something here to challenge everyone.We loved the rule of turning over a card at the beginning of the game to decide which question on each card to use. Since there are six questions to each card, you aren't throwing out the cards you use, like most trivia games.We also loved that you start off with one card for each category, but whenever a card is played the next player gets to fill in the slot with whatever category card they want. If you're great at sports, but not so good with geography, just keep drawing sports card.The object of the game is to successfully answer one question from each category. But, unlike Trivial Pursuit, if you are horrible at a certain category r two, there are rules for winning the game even if you can't get one of them right.Its a well designed and executed trivia game. By the way, we tried this because we love several other games by Dyce. Check out Pick your poison (a new take on the "would you rather" genre) and Bad People (its hilarious with the "right" crowd).
