Exactly as described. As luck would have it, I needed it the day I got it. It lit up my entire trailer; it is very bright. The dimmer button doesn't dim much. However, I bought it for emergencies and it is perfect for that!

Worth the money. I was looking at lanterns for light use such as camping, power outages and the like. I wanted ones that recharge instead of devouring batteries so I gave them a shot. Been using them almost a year now and I have no complaints! Being able to charge other essential devices like phones in an emergency is nice. Dimmable white LED and soft light is a nice feature. I haven’t tested run time to give an accurate description but I’ve taken them on a 4 night camping trip and didn’t have to recharge during.

Good light output and the control button function makes it nice and easy to switch through the functions. At its lowest level it still puts out plenty of light for getting around the house. At its bright level it would be very easy to read by or do any small project.Like one reviewer said, it takes around 4 to 5 hours to recharge, and I found that pretty accurate. I used a Motorola USB cell phone transformer as the power source (it states about a 2 amp output) and it worked like a charm.

Enjoy the fact that these are rechargeable. Don't have to worry about dead batteries and not having batteries to put in. Plus it in charge it and you are ready to go.

These lanterns serve their purpose as backup lights if the power goes out. I have both the rechargeable and the D cell powered versions. One very annoying thing about them is that there is no memory function. It will not turn on to your last light setting (color and brightness), so you have to cycle through the options each time you turn it on. I don't like that it defaults to the brightest setting on the harshest color. The instruction pamphlet does mention there is no memory, but I didn't see anything about that in the product description.

I have used this product several times at Camping it’s good to have in a tent or while you eat at night. The battery lasts at least two days without charge. It’s pretty bright and has different levels of intensity. You can use it on a dim light just for the kids to fall asleep. It has a white and amber color that you can choose from and it’s selectable. The only downside of this product Is that it charges in a really long time I think it takes almost 8 hours for a full charge.

We’ve been camping for the last 12 nights. This lantern is awesome. The dimmer function is my favorite part and greatly increases battery life. Also love the hook on bottom for in the tent also. Highly recommended.

Love this lantern! It's small but powerful. Had an outage recently and this light lit a 20' x 30' room, without a problem. Best of all, it can be re-charged so you're not dependent on batteries. Love it so much I ordered two more.
