I got this to act essentially as an almost KVM so i could quickly switch between a laptop and a desktop with a single USB C cable, and for that purpose it does a decent job. The one thing you need to make sure to read in the description is to utilize multiple monitors you need to install display link drivers on your computer (Both Mac or PC), to enable that functionality. There are official driver for this, so it's not that big of a deal, but it does lead to one small issue. There is something i considered taking more than a star off for, but i'm not sure if this is the fault of the device itself, or display link drivers, and that's the fact that when your computer goes into standby mode, the monitors don't seem to show the screensaver, but instead just have a dark screen with the backlight still on, and then when i try to come back from standby mode, just moving the mouse doesn't seem to re-engage the display signal, i actually have to do something like CTRL+ALT+DEL to get it to re-initiate the display signal. It's not that big of an inconvenience, but still a small annoyance. I can probably get around this if i were to use a more traditional KVM, but the slim form factor of this device is really hard to beat. This device is SLIM, and very unobtrusive on my desk. It has a decent amount of ports, and can support up to 3 HDMI displays (Read the description from the seller to ensure your devices will support them all). Overall it gets the job done with a few quirks in a stylish package.

The Portta brand docking station is a great value for money at under $250. I use it with my Windows 11 Business Insider Preview system, and it also works well on Linux Debian 5 and macOS. I really like the support for triple 4K 60Hz monitor output because it helps me manage multiple workspaces efficiently. The build quality is solid, and the ports are well distributed for accessibility. The docking station includes six USB ports, Ethernet, SD and TF card slots, audio and mic jacks, and 100W PD charging, making it a full-featured hub. The included 150W power adapter is appreciated, and I found no issues with power delivery or overheating. Setup was straightforward, though drivers are required for full functionality, especially on macOS.Overall, this is a highly functional dock for anyone who needs multi-display support and reliable peripheral expansion. I recommend this product based on its performance, compatibility, and price.

I purchased the Portta 14-in-1 DisplayLink Docking Station and I’m incredibly impressed with the power, versatility, and sleek design of this hub. It’s easily one of the best docking stations I’ve used for multitasking and expanding my workstation.Setup & Compatibility:Right out of the box, installation was simple just make sure to download the required DisplayLink drivers (especially for macOS users). Once installed, everything connected smoothly and stayed stable. I tested this with both Windows and macOS systems, and both handled triple displays beautifully.Display Performance:This dock supports triple 4K monitors at 60Hz, and it actually delivers. All three HDMI ports worked as advertised with no lag or resolution drops, even while running video playback and multitasking across screens. It’s a lifesaver for anyone working in digital forensics, cybersecurity, or heavy admin tasks where screen real estate matters.Port Selection & Power Delivery:It has every port you could possibly need:• 3 HDMI ports• 6 USB ports (including USB 3.0)• SD/TF card readers• Gigabit Ethernet• 100W PD USB-C port (charges my laptop quickly and reliably)The 150W power supply is strong enough to keep multiple peripherals running without dips in performance. I’ve connected a full keyboard setup, external SSD, webcam, and more all at once.Design & Build:It’s modern and vertical, which keeps desk space clear and looks great next to my monitors. The included detachable stand allows horizontal placement if preferred. The subtle lighting is a nice touch without being distracting.Stability & Functionality:This dock stays cool even under heavy loads and doesn’t freeze up like cheaper alternatives. It’s handled long work sessions without any issues.Final Thoughts:This docking station does exactly what it claims no compromises. Whether you’re building a professional multi-monitor setup, gaming rig, or hybrid home office, the Portta DisplayLink dock gives you flexibility, reliability, and sleek organization in one device.I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable, high-performance dock that’s future-proof and packed with functionality.

We have been searching high-and-low for a hub that would allow both our PCs and Macs to plug in, allow dual external displays, charge the computer, AND have enough ports for all our peripherals. This fits it to a "T." While I'm not the biggest fan of the look of it as we just want it to be hidden under our desk (we attached it with some 3M strips) the glowing RGB isn't super bright so we don't notice it (also a good thing for us). The USB-C cable is a lot longer than most hubs have, so that's great, as we can plug in our computer and then slide it under our monitor stand. It does sometimes shut off, so you just have to hit the power button quickly and you're in business. The only thing you have to be sure of is to download the DisplayLink app on your computer/s so that you can use dual external monitors. My M1 Max MacBook Pro can do 2 external displays with my built in monitor functioning as a third (if you want).

14 in 1 docking station. It includes a 150w PSU and charges the laptop via USB-C. This helps save space on the desk, as my laptop charger isn't needed. The dock includes a stand for a vertical position. It saves desk space too All 3 HDMIs can be used and 2 of them are driver based. This fixes the issue of some laptops with lessor GPU capabilities allowing a total of 3 external displays.
