I absolutely love this cicada specimen! It's much more than just a decorative item—it's a true conversation piece. The tiger-striped cicada is clearly visible and beautifully preserved in clear resin. It looks even better in person than I expected. The acrylic block is a great size—solid, but not bulky (about 4.33 x 1.73 x 1.10 inches). It fits perfectly on my shelf and adds a cool, natural touch to my space. The quality of the resin is excellent—very clear and durable, with no bubbles or distortion. This would make a fantastic gift for anyone into nature, entomology, or unique collectibles. I’ve had several guests comment on it already, and it always leads to a fun conversation.Highly recommend for collectors, curious minds, or anyone looking for something a little different and visually striking!

This real bat skeleton is amazing! I love it. The whole thing is about 4x4 inch. I got it to go with a full bat that I have.

This is pretty wild. Super delicate bones. The resin is really clear and you can see very clearly the arrangement of bones through the block. Very cool

It's quite interesting to see a complete and tiny bat skeleton in a clear cube, intact and sitting like it just had all it's skin and muscle zapped from it, leaving it in shape. Pretty cool!

This is so cool. I'm not usually a big fan of spiders, but I do like creepy, Halloween things (I contradict myself here, I know.) This looks really cool sitting on my desk. The resin is crystal clear with no bubbles. The spider inside is perfect (can spiders be perfect?) and the web really adds to the whole look. It's small, the web is probably about the size of a quarter. Overall, I really like this. How I rate items:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars – ExcellentExactly what it claims to be (or better). High quality, reliable, and performs as promised. Would happily buy or use again.⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 Stars – Solid ProductWorks well and meets expectations. A few minor flaws, but overall a good product. Would recommend to most people.⭐⭐⭐ 3 Stars – Just OkayIt works, but it’s mediocre. Might be worth it for the price or a specific need, but it didn’t impress. Some noticeable issues.⭐⭐ 2 Stars – Major IssuesIt functions somewhat, but has serious flaws, poor quality, or doesn’t do what it promises. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re desperate.⭐ 1 Star – UnacceptableThe product is completely unusable, defective, misleading, or broke almost immediately. Not worth anyone’s time or money.

I have a granddaughter who has been very interested in biology and "critters" most of her young life. When I saw this item on Amazon I had to get it for her. What you get here is a clear acrylic block, nominally 3" x 3" x 1" encasing a small bat. The acrylic is crystal clear. Every detail of this small mammal can be observed from the front, sides and back. I don't know exactly how this product was produced without distorting some parts of the animal. You can see all the digits of the wings and feet. You can see that the specimen's mouth is wide open. The detail and preservation is amazing. How this item was produced is beyond me. The acrylic is clear as water, has no air bubbles in it and is smooth as glass on the exterior. I am amazed with this item and look forward to presenting it to my granddaughter. I know she will like it, and this is one of those things that will definitely get taken to school for "show and tell" day.

I love any neat biology keepsakes for my book shelves. Having specimens on display is a neat way to bring any old dusty bookshelf to life. The spider web itself appears to be a simple decal that is inside of the resin. From a distance it looks nice, up close you can clearly see it’s just a decal. The spider itself looks to be in moderate condition, everything is still there but it’s quite dried out. Regardless, it looks really cool. Would recommend it.

I received my Vintage Taxidermy Bat Specimen - Real Bat Encased in Clear Resin Block for Science & Display (3" x 3" x 1") – Perfect for Biology, Gothic Decor, and Oddity Collectors. When it arrived, I was surprised that it was made of real bones! The presentation was also very cool. The bat was carefully tucked into a clear resin block. I'm not sure how they did it, but they made it so that you can't see the seams of the block. It looks like they just took the bat and sealed it within the block, like it was the natural habitat of the bat. For me, this adds a lot to the presentation. Since the bat is real, this makes it a lot more real. Overall, I'm very happy with the presentation.
