Don't bother reading through the AI generated description of this product. It's basically an air stone with a LED light strip attached to it. I purchased the 6 inch version and this is good for a small tank, 20 gal or less. The light isn't enough to grow any plants, which is expected. It just creates ambient lighting for wherever you place it. The bubbles from the air stone aren't necessarily fine, perhaps I'm pushing too much air through mine. It does not include an air pump or power supply.Cons: The suction cups are terrible. I pushed mine into the glass and they still come off.The light/bubbler doesn't have any weight to it, so if it comes off the suction cups, it just floats.The light only has 2 functions, on and off. When on, it cycles through some colors but having an adjustment for different lighting modes would've been nice.Finally, the power cord is very short(same length cord for both length lights). It's almost 4 feet long, but if your tank is higher than 18 inches, you won't have much left to plug it safely into a USB power brick.If you're ok with those drawbacks and have a smaller tank, then this might be for you. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere. Or better yet, purchase an air stone and a proper light.

Overall, this is a great idea and I thought would be a nice addition to my 29 gallon tank as an "extra" light source. I still think it will be nice, but it's going to take a little more work to install it than I planned. For one thing, the cord has a USB end on it. Maybe I live in the dark ages, but none of my electrical outlets have USB receptacles so that means I need to use a block to use it. Even if I did not have to do that, the cord is not long enough to reach my power so I am going to have to find a short extension cord so that I can plug it in. I would also prefer if there was a switch on it to make it stay one color constantly rather than switching the colors constantly. I think it will be a nice addition to my aquarium, but I was hoping to use it right out of the box rather than having to purchase more things to enable me to use it.

Like some other reviewers, I was under the impression that this was an all in one unit. The package contains the light fixture with an air stone attached, 2 suction cups o secure it in position, and a power cord with an on/off switch got he light. you will need an air pump and tubing to make the bubble curtain The light cannot be set to stay a single color, which is not a problem once you get the bubble curtain up and bubbling. The bubble curtain actually accentuates the smooth flow of the color changes. The fish seem to enjoy the bubbles since they ate constantly and intentionally swimming into the curtain and riding the bubbles up to the top, hen returning to do it again. Even though the light doesn't come with the tubing and pump, it is still a great value as it does add a bit of ambiance to the tank and also helps add oxygen to the water. The light is well sealed and the suction cups do a good job of keeping it in place. Enjoy! Your fish will love it.

I love the way this lights up my tank! It's super bright so I can see it during the day & with the tank light on. You can't set a color unfortunately, but the default rainbow cycle is just fine for my tank. Set up was nothing; I simply swapped out my old air stone for this. I gave it a good rinse before I added it, and I made sure to (carefully) dig down in the gravel to the glass tank bottom so I could use the suction cups to anchor it. So far the bubbles are strong and evenly spread, and the LEDs light them up beautifully.

I got this for my desk and to attached to a battery pack in case of emergencies. I know it is stupid to use it for that but if I am in a panic, I'd much rather have some cool lighting to calm me down. Anyway, it works for that. I might have to read and see if it can stick to one color but it works. Feels like good quality and that fact that it is meant for an aquarium is part of my reasoning for having it since it will be waterproof for my needs. Good quality material. Button works fine but will see how it holds up over time. If I ever get a fish tank. will test it in there and update this review.
