This zero clearance insert is cut to the right shape to fit my Metabo C12RSH2 miter saw, and the holes are drilled in the right spot. It’s made of a low grade MDF.. The reason I took off one star is because it’s a little too thin. I had to put 6 layers of blue tape on the back side over the screw holes to shim it up enough so that it is even with the bed of the saw, otherwise it’s not truly a zero-clearance. Without shimming it sits below the bed of the saw.

This is the perfect fit and thickness for my Hitachi 12” sliding compound miter saw.The material cut cleanly to make an excellent zero-clearance insert.I would recommend this.

Had to take the dremel tool to get one of the screws to start. Other than that it works

This zero clearance blank fit my Hitachi miter saw perfectly. It's about 3/8-1/2 inch thick and appears to be MDF, which is good because it won't crack or warp. Price is very reasonable. I would recommend.

Fit perfectly and is made of a strong MDF type material. I have a project that required cutting 4" narrow strips of thinner plywood and the original piece had been damaged slightly, causing each cut to tear out on the bottom. This is doing the job to create nice clean cuts and no tear outs.
