This set was a fun gift for a calligraphy newbie. The pen is fantastically crafted, the wax melts smoothly, and the packaging is perfect. Very excited about the quality. Nibs are easy to change out & the seals are great and sturdy. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

Great product for Journaling. The stamp heads are amazing. Not only is it a great gift for future writers but also a great gift for those starting thier Journaling path.

First off, I am not a calligraphy master. I am a complete newbie but I'll do my best to describe my enthusiasm for this product.Right off the bat, opening the packaging I thought the look of everything was awesome. If you love stationary and also like Legend of Zelda, this is a cute package to have!Getting right down to it... I honestly adore the set. I've never had one before. So I guess maybe give or take my word for it.Ink was watery in my opinion but it does spread super easily- and I mean... REALLY easily. It very much does bleed if you're not careful- mostly cause the ink is water based. You can easily make a mess if you're not careful (and I shamefully made a bigger mess than the pictures show... it's on my hands and legs and I was wearing shorts lol). Oh and be warned the ink sometimes does flow up and into the pen if you're not careful (which also contributes to the possible mess).Pen tips- I like the base tip and size 5 best. This is mostly because the ink being so watery... it'll drip heavily with the bigger tips. Also note that if you do not dry the tips off, they will leak ink onto your hands when you pull them out to exchange for a new one. They're fairly easy to stick into the slot, just pay attention to the grooves in the pen and you'll be fine.The feather is cute, but it is hot glued on.Candle wax seems to melt just fine. This product does not come with a holder for your wax burner so unless you have one... you gotta hold it over your candle (which btw in case you didn't notice it doesn't come with any tea candles so make sure you have your own!) It spreads nicely and the stamp goes down nicely, peels away easily from the wax once it's set. I used the silver marker that it came with to highlight the heart seal I did. I love the color of wax provided.The envelope cutter is cute in design but it's obviously a dull blade so it doesn't go a great job at cutting envelopes open buuuut it *can* do it.I haven't used the scented white wax yet but I'll update when I do...Also, the paper I used to test the tips and ink are not suited for the set- so while it's not made for it, you can obviously see the bleeding of the ink (and my sub-par handwriting). I tried writing until the ink ran out. For the thicker tips, ink was very blotchy thanks to the paper and the water base ink. The smaller the tip, the better and longer it writes. The quill overall looks cheap but the journal looks like it may be durable as well as the stamp set.I'll be practicing how to write before I go writing in the journal.The Legend of Zelda journal has a lovely pleather. A nice rustic color and the feel of it is very pleasing to the touch. The binder part is metal so it'll hold pages well I assume. Comes with two different plastic sleeves to hold your art supplies I'm sure. And the other one looks like it could hold small pictures or maybe stickers in it.I honestly bought this set to go with a cosplay I had in mind...I think it would be overall a cool gift. Practical? Probably not lol but it's fun!I'm overalls very satisfied with this purchase and very excited to use it more in the future.

I love all of the peices in this set. It's great for beginners and has some beautiful items.
