Albeit too expensive, this is OEM replacement works as well as the original. The lesson is be more careful with the original and you won’t need to replace it. Make sure the Gripper is parallel to the blade and not skewed at some angle where the blade can hit the plastic . . . Good product overall though.

DAMAGED THE TWO PIECES AND HAD TO REPLACE THEM. WILL START TO WOODWORK WHEN IT GETS WARMER OUT DOORS. LIKE THE WAY IT STOPS YOUR HANDS FROM GETTING TO CLOSE TO THE SAW BLADE. WORKS GREAT, ONCE YOU GET USE OF USING IT. THANK YOU, JIMBO.

Lost a work piece to a kickback that ate this piece of my Grr-ripper... lost a window in the garage to the work piece flying out it. Yeah, it was bad. Glad I was smart enough to stay out of the line of fire.When I saw the damage to the tool, I was pretty happy that wasn't my hand! Great tool, and good that the parts are easy to get.

Its kind of expensive at $25, but each one I go through I have saved a few fingers...(If they ever go up as high as $35, I may start reconsidering the value of fingers)

I love this thing so much I bought another attachment too. It makes using the table saw easier and safer. I cut through my first one, but I’d rather do that than cut my fingers off.
