Your cart is empty.Secure and transport a single kayak on a vehicle's roof without requiring side rails or cross bars with an Elevate Outdoor kayak carrier kit. Each kit includes a pair of 3.125" by 15.75" by 4" foam blocks with an angled profile that compresses to fit a most kayak hull shapes and create a buffer between the vehicle roof and kayak. Includes two pair of cam buckle tie-down straps and two tie ropes for bow and stern securing. One pair of the cam buckle straps attach to the vehicle, the other pair to the kayak, and the tie ropes connect the two together. Foam blocks are made with high-density polyethylene foam for a firm grip to the vehicle roof and kayak.

Works ok but is not overly sturdy on a car roof. I wouldn’t be comfortable going long distances or high speeds using this setup.

Very awkward to use, definitely takes two people to handle. Straps are ineffective and create a huge noise when driving with the kayak in place. I’ll be shopping for something else.

It's a great product, great for up to 50mph. Not very good for highway travel. I have a mid sized sedan and it fits and works great.

I was skeptical at first, but after using I think it's great for its price. I drive up to 65mph for an hour and it held up great. I have a 13' kayak, and it's pretty wide. Overall great for the price.

The kit arrived and was exactly as described. The two orange straps are pretty short though andwere of no help attaching to the sedan we were using to transport the kayak. We used other strapswe already had that were plenty long. The foam pieces are a nice size and the black straps longand secured the kayak decently with the additional straps we provided.
