Way better than grinding by hand! The adjustable grind size is a great feature, and this little machine does the job well. It’s not very big, so it’s easy to store, and it’s perfect for travel if you love super fresh ground coffee. Very happy with this product!

I've been looking for a grinder to carry with me when I travel so that I can easily do pourover coffee. This grinder works very well, it's easy to customize the grind size, and works without any issues - it just grinds until you're ready to shut it off.It unfortunately doesn't hold enough beans for a single pourover, so I have to run it twice. Also - and this isn't a huge deal, it does grind a bit slowly. It takes a bit over a minute to get 30 grams of beans through. With that said - it's a positive addition to my coffee routine.

So far, I've ben impressed by this coffee grinder. I didn't think something powered by recharging through a USB would work as well as it does.I also really like the design. Our past grinders have been the spinning blade kind and so far, I like this better because I can't accidentally over-grind my beans and turn my coffee to dust. It does all the guesswork for you.You just choose your grind size from fine to coarse using the little dial arrow on the bottom of the grinder part. Then assemble the two bottom pieces, add your beans, click the top piece into place and push the button once. You don't have to hold the button down. If the beans get stuck, it shuts off, which indicates that you need more power and for that you just push the button for a longer hold and let go.I had to do this when I had it set on the coarsest grind. Once it switched to higher mode, it powered right through the beans. When I had it set on the finest grind, it didn't get stuck at all, but it does take a little longer. I was also impressed that the charge only went down by a quarter after two days of use.I love how easy it is to clean. You only clean the two bottom pieces that touched the coffee and the brush that comes with it actually does come in handy for getting in between the grinding gears.I have used the spinning blade type of coffee grinder in the past to grind herbs and spices into a fine dust. I would not use this grinder for that purpose. The finest setting is great for fine ground coffee, but not fine enough to grind anything to dust.I'm loving this grinder so far. If anything changes, I'll update this review.

This is my first experience with a coffee grinder, so I didn’t have many expectations going in. While it works, it didn’t perform quite as well as I hoped. It’s easy enough to load the beans and figure out how to operate, but the grind level isn’t intuitive, there’s no guide, so it requires trial and error to find the right setting. Both sections twist to lock, but the locking mechanism feels a bit loose. It actually unlocked a couple of times during use, likely because I had to shake the grinder frequently to get the beans to move into the grinding area. The process was also very slow, taking about 10 minutes to grind a small handful of beans. The beans often spun around without grinding, which made shaking necessary. While it does get the job done, I feel like a manual grinder could achieve the same results more quickly.I can see the value for someone who can’t use a manual grinder or doesn’t mind being patient. It works but doesn’t really save time or effort.

I was surprised by this little coffee grinder. I was thinking it was just gonna be like all the other blade grinders out there but it is not. First thing first is that you do not load and grind your beans in the same bin, you have your ground bin and your bean hopper. Second is that it is not a blade grinder but a burr grinder which is by far and way better than any blade grinder you can get. With it being a burr grinder you can actually adjust the grind on this. So you can grind for espresso or drip coffee and anything in between. That is pretty good specially at this price point and being portable. Now there is no power cord and it is only a battery powered grinder but it does have 4 lights on the top indicating the mount of charge on the battery. It does come with a charging cable, a brush for cleaning the grinder and an instruction booklet. Mine came with about 3/4 charge so it didnt take long for it to be at full. Now they call it a large bean hopper but i would call it more in the small range, not tiny but not even close to large. There is only one button, which is the power button. However depending on if you long press it or short press it you can enter in to 2 different grind modes. One being of a normal power and the other being called the power mode. It has a safety sensor built in so that if the motor binds up that it will shut itself off no matter which mode. Now for the actual grind of the bean, well its not bad. The pieces of the bean are not consistently the same but they are much closer than what you would get with a blade grinder. It also takes a little time to grind the beans as the motor is dependent on the battery and will bog down if you do a fine grind. I first did an espresso grind and of course it took longer and I could hear the motor strain some than when I did the beans for some drip. You can also defiantly see the difference is size if you adjust it right from those two grinds. Both batches made a good cup of joe and there was not any burn taste to the beans which tells me that there is not a lot of heat being made when grinding the beans which is a really good thing. The only thing I wish that this grinding had was some markings where you adjust the grind size so once you find that good grind that it would be easy to go back to it.This really is a decent PORTABLE grinder and produces decent ground beans. Is it as good as my Rancilio Rocky, NO, not even close, but it also is no where near the cost either. I love my Rocky and it produces just an amazing grind, but with it weighing almost 20 pounds I cant take it anywhere and every where like I could this. Bring along an AeroPress Coffee Maker with this grinder and you can make a really good cup of coffee anywhere you go.

You can adjust the grind on this , so that is nice for different espresso and coffee types. It made very tasty coffee grinds for me on the first try. Its super to shake and dust out. A must for espresso lovers without a big fancy grinder.
