This was a thank you gift for someone who came into our lives for a limited time, yet did so much for us. When I opened the package I knew it was a good choice. The compass is well made and sturdy. The case makes a great presentation. Overall, it has a very vintage feel to it yet you know it will last a long time. The recipient was touched and impressed with our gift. I liked it, didn’t love it.I really wished they would have tried to buff out all the scratches that was left in it after they engraved it and was full of prints.It was beautiful but they could have made it better.Was pricy for what was described, after I got it. Shipped fairly quickly.

The compass is beautiful and very elegant. This is my anniversary gift to my husband this year and I am very pleased with it and I think he will be too. Mine was customized and I added a box on as well and both were perfect. They packaged it carefully with a lot of bubble wrap to ensure safe shipping. My ONLY complaint is not regarding the items, but the shipping. The invoice was on the outside of the package with the name of the item I ordered and my husband gets home before me and brings the mail in. He's usually clueless though so hopefully he didn't notice! :) I still recommend though.

I have the compass packed or I'd send a pic, but it's such a fun gift! It's perfect for traveling as it's small enough to pack and the speed at which I got it was perfect. I love how they engraved exactly what I wanted on it and it's a functioning compass, as much as I know about compasses. I love it and I think my nine y.o. nephew will too. If not? My husband isn't a watch guy, and I didn't want to get him a whiskey tumbler set, so when this compass turned up in my search, I knew it was perfect. It's sturdily built, the pouch it comes with is very well made and I like the cliche notion that he'll always be able to find his way home with it. Bonus points for it being (very nicely) engraved with the same quote that is featured in a picture frame I bought him as a wedding present. That he got a little misty eyed when I gave it to him was icing on the cake.
